Hey there, internets. It’s been too long.
Things have been going up and down sense I last posted. I enrolled in a Certified Nurse Assistant course last month (the last semester ended, for a variety of reasons. Internet addiction and various mental problems do not mix well with school, it appears.) Clinical starts tomorrow and I’ve been trying to get to bed earlier and earlier over the weekend. Getting out to north Tulsa every morning is hard enough as it is; doing it at 6:30 is even better. On the plus side, it’s a ten minute drive at most, I like the teacher and most of the student’s I’ll be doing rounds with, and my family is helping me get up by 5:50 at the latest. This was the stage where I screwed up my last course, but I’ve got a good feeling about this coming week. I want to do this, I want to make this my career, I want to see this through to the end. All I have to do is respect my sleep schedule, listen when people tell me to turn of the internet, and I’ll be fine. *petitions St. Luigi*
My brother just spent a week working the 3-11 shift. He seemed better rested than he had in a long time. I guess the ‘sleep till noon’ schedule is the best one for our family overall.
The rain’s finally coming to a stop. I may even get the whole lawn mowed before the weekend comes.
The Yankees are still leading the Angels. My dad is ecstatic.
I’ve been looking over some old ideas for NaNoWriMo and wondering if I should give it a shot this year. Writing’s been getting easier and easier over the past month or so; there are two stories sitting on my computer that just need some tightening before I feel ready to post them. Hmmm. *ponders*
